Coral Profile – Montipora Capricornis

There is a new coral profile up on the site on the Small Polyped Stoney coral named Montipora Capricornis. There are several different color varieties available and this could also be considered a good first SPS coral to start out with if you’ve never kept SPS corals before. This is a powerhead modification that is talked about quite frequently amongst saltwater hobbyists to help increase the flow rates in their aquariums. This is actually one of the better and less expensive ways to get the water really moving in your reef tank or FOWLR.
There is another new saltwater fish profile on the Three Stripe Damselfish on the main website. These damsels get to be about 4 inches in size but have personalities similar to some of the other more aggressive damsels.
