Book Review - Giant Clams in the Aquarium (Tridacnids)
I just added a new aquarium book review to the site. The book is “Giant Clams in the Sea and Aquarium” written by James Fatherree. If you currently have Tridacnid clams or plan on purchasing them in the future then this book is for you. It provides in depth information on every species of the giant clams. Species covered include: Tridacna crocea, T. maxima, T. squamosa, T. derasa, T. gigas, T. mbalavuana (tevora), T. rosewateri, Hippopus hippopus and H. porcellanus. Some can be easily kept in aquariums if you can provide them with what they need. Lots of nice info on lighting, placement, feeding, dissolved nutrient processing and more.
