Yesterday I added an article about how to setup a hang on the back of the tank refugium using an AquaClear Power Filter. These aquaclears are nice to use because of they way they’re set up and have a larger open area conducive for a mini-refugium.  You can get one of these setup for less than 

$100 and I talk about how I set mine up in this article.

There are tons of forum posts around the web about using this power filter for a mini-refugium and most of them are worth reading, so this has been done before, I just explain how I’m using mine.  Setup, photos, parts, macro algae and lighting that I’m using are talked about in the article.
